Size and structure
Located in Robertville, Florida, South Africa, BMC Engineering occupies a total of 2200 square meters, with premises that have been specially adapted to the manufacturing of stainless steel tanks.
This includes a pit, 6 metres deep, which assists us in building silos in an upright position and a door that is 7 metres wide for large-diameter silos to exit the factory.
Our equipment includes mobile cranes, automatic welding machines, guillotines and bending brakes – all of which are rigorously maintained.
Company history
BMC Engineering was founded in 1981 and initially based the business in Chamdor. In 1992, our existing premises in Robertville, Florida, were purchased and in 1996 BMC acquired the adjacent stand. Our second premises were completed in 1997.
